Job Description

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The Colleague Technology Engineering – eMessaging Senior Engineer is responsible for the ongoing support and day to day operations of our email infrastructure.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • You will be responsible for supporting, configuring, and maintaining our email infrastructure.
  • Align systems and services with regulatory and business requirements.
  • Run reports to demonstrate alignment with regulatory and business requirements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support solutions utilizing existing technologies that align with business unit functionality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, application owners, testers, user-experience, security, audit, and compliance.
  • Continuously improve processes and procedures based on regulatory requirements or platform feature and functionality changes.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

MUST HAVE:

  • 5+ years of related experience in email infrastructure support.
  • In depth and current technical knowledge of email systems and related technologies (Microsoft Exchange, Exchange Online, ProofPoint, etc.) and concepts (e.g., mail routing, mail hygiene, secure mail, etc.)
  • In depth knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and Azure AD.
  • In depth knowledge of messaging and collaborative computing technologies
  • Working knowledge of networking, TLS, and DNS
  • Working knowledge of internet technologies and protocols

NICE-TO-HAVE:

  • Experience in a highly regulated environment
  • Ability to manage technical escalations and troubleshoot effectively
  • Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
