About the Job

We’re looking for an SEO and content marketing enthusiast with a strong writing and editing background. The role of the SEO Strategy Manager is to generate traffic and leads through organic search. This candidate should possess a deep understanding of digital marketing, particularly as it relates to search engine optimization, lead generation, and analytics. This is a great opportunity to own and execute the SEO strategy to grow our site into an industry-leading resource.


  • This position is open for consideration of candidates in both Saskatoon, SK as well as remotely across Canada (dependent on experience)


The impact you’ll have

  • Research, create and maintain the SEO content calendar in collaboration with the SEO Director and content team
  • Build SEO briefs for the SEO writers to write new content needed for the blog and website
  • Coordinate with a team of internal and external SEO content writers to produce and publish new content to the blog and website
  • Edit the SEO content to ensure writers have properly optimized for SEO, are compelling to readers and that it follows our writing style guidelines
  • Monitor newly published content and historical content for continuous improvements to help maintain and improve rankings
  • Work with the SEO & Website Director to research content silos and product pages of SEO-optimized content for the corporate marketing website & blog
  • Develop SEO-optimized content for the website for the content silos and pages
  • Coordinate with the website designers and developers to build and launch new SEO-optimized website content
  • Build out measurements so the product & content teams can see how their content is performing
  • Implement both on-page and off-page SEO tactics to hit our aggressive search goals month over month
  • Be accountable for content metrics and presenting to demand generation leadership
  • Conduct keyword research & SEO briefs to aid with lead generation, product marketing, product development, and other key initiatives
  • Optimize landing pages, calls-to-action (CTAs), and lead-generating forms

The value you’ll bring

  • 5+ years of experience in key areas of SEO, including link building, keyword research, on-page optimization, off-page optimization, and site audits.
  • 3+ years of writing, editing and content marketing experience
  • Strong knowledge of content marketing and inbound marketing best practices
  • Proficiency with analytics tools and web traffic reporting, able to conduct deep data analysis
  • Knowledge of conversion rate optimization best practices
  • Data-driven; must love statistics and be able to derive meaning from large amounts of data
  • Strong understanding of the connection between advertising, landing pages, and conversion rate optimization
  • Always seeking out and learning about new strategies, advertising channels, conversion optimization techniques, and experimentation best practices
  • Able to summarize findings and provide explanations and presentations
