IT proudly provides the computer systems, security, IT services and governance that support AGLC’s businesses, including the operation & support of mission critical gaming, liquor and corporate systems running on a variety of computing platforms. IT ensures the stability and performance of a Local/Wide Area Network, which supports over 1,200 gaming locations and more than 2,000 computers/tablets, 150 physical and 2,000 virtual servers distributed across six corporate offices, casinos, RECs and bingo halls. IT provides leadership in the use of information technology, data and systems to help the AGLC achieve business goals and objectives.

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Team Lead, Enterprise Identity & Applications the senior level Server Analyst specializes in activities related to identity and the general setup, installation, configuration, implementation, administration and support of server, storage and associated local area network devices. This includes hardware, operating system and software technologies. This person provides coaching and direction to other team members.

The Server Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Enterprise Identity & Applications related infrastructure at the AGLC. They will work on the creation, upgrade, maintenance and decommissioning of AGLC systems. This analyst will determine how best to resolve related issues that they encounter both onsite and in the cloud and will need to quickly learn the various tools and technologies used by the Enterprise Identity & Applications team as they perform issue resolution, day to day maintenance and new system installation and configuration. They will adhere to applicable IT processes and may develop new processes and procedures where needed.
The Server Analyst will be working within a team but will also need to work independently on many tasks to ensure deliverable timelines are met. They will often work closely with other business areas during issue resolution or project participation.
The primary responsibilities of this role within the Enterprise Identity & Applications team includes the following:


Directory Services Analyst
  • Primary role responsible for the administration, troubleshooting, design and support of the multiple active directory forest environments at AGLC.
  • Also includes the implementation, troubleshooting and monitoring of Group Policies, internal DNS, DHCP, certificate infrastructure (PKI), replication through FRS and DRS, DFSR as well as updates as required in all of these areas.
  • Role Based Access Control design, planning and implementation
  • Managing AGLC’s file servers including file permissions, share permissions and migrating to new operating systems when necessary.
  • Required to document and maintain documentation of these environments and areas of responsibility ensuring all pieces are in place for support of these critical environments.
  • Responsible for the architecture, structure and understanding of the flow of the objects in each active directory environment. This includes presenting the information to peers and management.


Azure/M365 Design and Administration
  • Administering the AGLC’s Azure/M365/Enterprise Admin Portal presence in Dev and Prod. This includes architecture, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, monitoring and documentation of the environment.
  • Administering Azure Active Directory including B2B and B2C tenants
  • Azure Enterprise Application integration with external solutions
  • Azure landing zone administration including management group and subscription hierarchy


Azure Identity and Access Management - Design and Administration
  • Secondary analyst responsible for the maintenance of the organizations identity and access management related infrastructure. May work with the primary IAM administrator on the plan, design, analysis of the environment or future ones.


Server and OS support
  • Implementation and support of new server, storage or software solutions: including research, requirements analysis, configuration, testing and installation.
  • Support for AGLC’s Server operating systems
  • Supporting Disaster Recovery activities in the role of Major Incident Response Team, including training, creation and updating of related documentation, simulations and testing, and reacting to major incidents and disasters as required.
  • Providing after hours support (Standby) to ensure 24x7 support coverage on a rotational basis


SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Minimum of a Degree in a computer science or related discipline and 2 years of experience, preference will be given to individuals who have led projects.
Equivalency:
  • Minimum of a Diploma in computer science or related technology focused discipline and 4 years of experience, preference will be given to individuals who have led projects.
  • Minimum of a Certificate in a computer science or related technology focused discipline and 5 years of experience, preference will be given to individuals who have led projects.


Detailed knowledge of the following items is also required:
  • Active Directory, Group Policy Administration, DNS, DHCP, DFS, FRS, DRS and certificate infrastructure (PKI)
  • Azure and M365 administration

The following qualifications are considered an asset:
  • Experience with Quest Suite of Active Directory Tools
  • Role Based Access Control management experience
  • Microsoft Certifications
  • VMware Certifications
  • Casino systems experience
  • Knowledge of network troubleshooting
