Position: Service Coordinator
Position Type: Full time
Location: Surrey, BC
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours of work: 8:00am - 4:30 pm
Closing Date: March 24, 2023, at 4:00 pm PT

You have a passion for maximizing efficiency in the service shop. You are an integral member of the Team; you have an eye for detail and understanding of the work performed in our shop. If you strive to be the superhero of the service team in collaboration with others, then the Dispatcher role is for you!
A Typical Day for the Service Coordinator:
- Allocate work to Mechanics based on their expertise and certification
- Create estimates
- Prioritize and assign work to meet customers needs
- Track and assess work orders and manpower in real-time
- Monitor repair costs and labour to align with estimates
- Manage status of back counter work orders and work order location
What You Bring:
- Great customer service both in person and over the phone
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at once
- Confidence using computer software in the planning and execution of work
- Experience with schedules and basic accounting procedures
- Self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced, detailed, and process-driven environment
- Previous experience in the automotive or trucking industry is an asset
