Service Technician Job at Helmig Fire and Safety
In business since 1992 we are an all-inclusive source for fire extinguisher service and sales, fire alarm panels, backflow systems, fire hydrants, gas detectors, off-road fire suppression systems specialized for oilfield/logging/coal mining industries as well as kitchen suppression systems customized for individual restaurants and hotels. We provide services to Hinton, Jasper, Edson, Grande Cache and surrounding areas. We offer a competitive benefit package including extended health care, RRSP matching and a yearly tool allowance. We are looking for entry level Service Technician’s
Qualifications
· Must have a valid class 5 drivers’ licence and be able to provide a clean driver’s abstract
· Must be able to pass a criminal record check
· Must be detail oriented and mechanically inclined
· Must be an analytical thinker, versatile and responsive to change
· Must be able to work well alone and as part of a team
Job Duties
· Preparation and completion of system inspection and verification reports
· Perform inspection, testing and maintenance of fire protection systems and equipment
· Instruct customers on the operation and proper use of fire suppression equipment
· Inspect and service fire extinguishers
· Occasional out of town work (all travel expenses paid)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.67-$38.07 per hour
