Shipper/Receiver/Forklift Operator Job at Nova Staffing Inc
Our client in Woodbridge is looking for Shipper/Receiver/Forklift Operator.
This is a full time direct hire postion with our client. Full time candidates only.
Shift: 9am-5pm - Monday to Friday
Pay: $23.83/hr
Unload incoming stock and non-stock materials.
Physically verify contents of incoming freight in compliance with SOX as well as company policy.
Receive all stock items using DSI scanning equipment and JDE Ensure that yard and warehouse are organized in a manner that maximizes efficiency, safety and customer order turnaround.
Put away all stocked products (stock stored inside and outside) in the designated warehouse spaces.
Ensure all non-stock items are delivered or picked up in a timely manner.
Record and report all variances in received goods to the shipping supervisor for follow up.
Report any deficiencies in systems, facilities, machinery, equipment and/or tools immediately to your supervisor.
Record and/or report product damage/nonconformities to your supervisor as required.
Comply with Quality Assurance policies and procedures.
Participate and contribute to effective production efficiency.
Construct packaging Skids/Gaylords Inspect packaging.
Repack damaged products. Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Management.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Lift truck certification. (Counterbalance and Double reach truck)
Use of Microsoft Office (Word, excel, outlook)
Ability to use and understand JDE and DSI
Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilograms.
