Trillium Staffing is seeking Shipping & Receiving Associates for one of our clients located in Erin, ON.

The Shipping & Receiving Associate will be responsible for assisting in loading and unloading trucks, counting, inspecting, and putting away incoming shipments. Move skids around the plant, in and out of freezers as required, and assist the plant floor ensuring they have what they require.

What you’ll do as a Shipping & Receiving Associates:

• Safe operation of forklift, electric pallet jacks and hand jacks
• Inspect inbound shipments and check for discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Put away inbound pallets into storage freezers/fridges or dry good warehouse, utilizing FIFO principles
• Enter/scan incoming and outgoing shipments into ERP systems.
• Assist with warehouse logistics when necessary.
• Assisting in order packing and skidding
• General cleaning of Shipping/Receiving area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications required for a Shipping & Receiving Associate:

• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented position
• General understanding of warehouse functions and a minimum of 1 year of previous experience
• 1+ year Forklift experience and certification, will train and certify the right individual (this position will NOT be sitting on a forklift all day)
• SAP/ERP experience an asset but not necessary
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• MUST have the ability to work outside in the elements loading and unloading trailers
• MUST be able to work in fridges and freezers, loading and unloading products
• MUST be able to stand on your feet all day and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Must be able to work Monday to Friday 7 am – 3:30 pm OR 3:30 pm to midnight
• MUST have own transportation as there is no public transportation that goes to this location
