Apex is a privately owned company providing rental equipment, service, and support to the energy industry. As the largest, privately owned wellsite accommodations and solids control providers in Western Canada, we are currently seeking a Shop and Wash Bay Assistant for our Red Deer Branch.
The Shop & Wash Bay Assistant is responsible for cleaning all Apex equipment. Work will be performed primarily in the wash bay, but there will be opportunities for cross-training in different areas and exposure to fieldwork. This is a great entry-level opportunity for those looking to gain practical, hands-on experience within the energy sector and grow their career with an established, thriving organization.
The Shop/ Wash Bay Assistant will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that all equipment is cleaned,washed, and organized to Apex standards
- Assisting with minor repairs and maintenance of equipment
- Cleaning and maintaining the shop and yard
- Operating a loader
- Supporting with the servicing and maintenance of our wellsite units
- Supporting various departments as needed
- Adhering to all company and industry procedures and safety requirements
The desirable candidate will possess:
- A positive attitude and a desire to learn
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability and desire to perform physical labour
- A clean class 5 license
- Relevant experience is considered an asset
