WE ARE GROWING North Central Co-op invites applications for the positions of Site Manager to join our team, supporting our Edmonton and Surrounding Area Liquor Sites. The successful candidate will be able to work at multiple sites in Edmonton and surrounding areas while training to Manage a future suitable site. Availability is required for morning, afternoon and evening shifts including weekends.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee, plan and manage daily operations for a stand alone liquor store location including pricing, inventory and merchandising management and implementation of branding programs according to trends and regulations
  • Lead a team in a positive and engaging manner through performance mentoring, coaching and identifying areas of concern
  • Determine staffing requirements, budgets and scheduling needs while Ensuring accurate record keeping
  • Maintain all equipment, for safe and efficient operation and championing a safe and healthy work environment
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors while ensuring an excellent level of service for members and customers
  • Support and lead customer loyalty and reward programs
  • Respond to customer concerns for resolution and assist team members when necessary with other duties as required

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in liquor retail operations and:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • 3 or more years of Supervisory/Management level experience
  • Previous liquor retail/cashier and customer service experience
  • WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) training
  • Inventory/Merchandising/Stocking experience
  • ProServ Liquor Staff Training would be an asset
  • You have excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail
  • Intermediate Skills in Microsoft Office programs
  • Have the ability to lift and move up to 20lbs consistently when stocking
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
