about this team
The Social Impact Programs Lead supports the development, execution and project management of the company’s global social impact programs within the lululemon Centre for Social Impact. Together with our partners, we disrupt inequity in wellbeing through movement, mindfulness and advocacy. This role is part of a high growth team, developing and stewarding a best-in-class global social impact program to achieve our goal of positively impacting 10 million people. As an individual contributor, this role builds a bridge between our grantees and our internal teams, while ensuring that our nonprofit partner offerings and community relationships are impactful, integral, and accelerate the company towards our Impact Agenda goals. This role is designed for someone who brings experience in relationship and community management, social impact partnerships, project management and grant management.

a day in the life: what you’ll do

  • Program Operations: Create processes and procedures to manage global social impact program activities and governance. Bring knowledge of social impact best practices to execute program activities including budget management, activations, impact assessment and content creation, as well as translation and localization when relevant.
  • Grant & partner management: Manage the day-to-day needs of grantee relationships. Execute partner onboarding, engage with partners on our granting platform, and ensure our program benefits are impactful and add value to grantees.
  • Cross-functional engagement: Lead strategic short-term projects and long-term initiatives that support our overall grantmaking and Impact Agenda goals. Consult with Brand, Marketing, Social, Internal Communications and PR to integrate social impact strategy into key initiatives and activations.
  • External engagement: Track and maintain sector conferences and convenings database; project manage and execute plans for Centre participation in key events.
  • Event management: Coordinate Centre for Social Impact events, as well as those produced by our partners in which lululemon participates.
  • Champion: Be a steward of social impact at lululemon and ensure our collective is excited to join us in bringing our Impact Agenda to life.
qualifications

  • Project management skills relevant to cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, written and verbal - and can navigate challenging conversations while being a steward of the lululemon brand and culture.
  • Event management and/or coordination experience across a spectrum of event models
  • Agile and adaptable, asks questions to gain understanding, creates plans to drive results, and execute with strong attention to detail
  • 5-7 years of non-profit grant management, relationship management and/or corporate social impact experience
  • Understanding of the dynamics that exist within corporate social impact
  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite; Smartsheet and Salesforce CRM experience a plus
