SPEECH - LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

2023/2024

.70 FTE Continuing

This is a .70 FTE Continuing position effective September 1, 2023. The successful applicant will work as part of the district team to provide school based speech/language services.

This is an itinerant district position. Direct service to students, and consultative service to staff, parents and administrators, is provided in different schools and across a variety of settings. Effective liaison with parents, teachers, administrators, health care professionals and other outside agencies is a critical aspect of this position. Some travel to outlying communities will be required.

Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the membership requirements of the College of the Speech and Hearing Health Professionals.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with other teachers, parents, support staff, administration and outside agencies.

Previous experience as an SLP, particularly in a school setting, would be an asset.

Valid driver’s license.
