Sr ABM Growth Food Service (Away From Home) Marketing

Role Overview

The Senior Associate Business Manager is responsible for digital marketing as well as supporting the development of a strong innovation pipeline to deliver on Foodservice competitive growth strategies. Strategic thinking with a strong knowledge of a variety of digital tools and database capabilities are essential to this role. They will work closely with Category Marketing- Sales- IT support- R&D and BD as well as a variety of external agencies. Leverage a variety of sources to initiate- scope and develop an execution strategy for innovation and whitespace opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Digital

    • Lead the Foodservice website- CRM (operator email marketing) and social platforms to drive brand impressions- product knowledge and customer loyalty.

    • Develop digital communication strategies to promote innovation- category offering with key partners (Sysco- Loblaws- Aramark- Sodexo and Compass).

    • Manage social media marketing strategy working with category marketing- creative agencies- and media partners.

    • Lead e-commerce opportunities for KHFS.ca with Skava integration via partnership with leading distributors.

  • Innovation and Consumer Insights

    • Work with Marketing- R&D and Business Development to scope out feasibilities to deliver new product innovation within our existing facilities and the EM network (capabilities- audit requirements- timing for launch- what outs (US vs CDN- capacity of lines).

    • Support Lead Growth Foodservice Marketing to create customer-facing presentations to support whitespace and innovation opportunities with fact-base solutions and menu offerings.

    • Working closely with Lead Growth FS Marketing to understand trends in Category & Channel to define product gaps (ethnic sauces- plant base- snacking).

    • Work with Product Commercial manger and Marketing Category / Channel teams to scope project feasibilities to integrated development stage gate.

    • Clearly identify innovation opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Foodservice Industry an asset

  • Project management knowledge

  • Microsoft Office

  • Strong ability to build credibility and be effective with teams

  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects- knowing when to take calculated risks in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong drive for results

  • Superior communication skills- including verbal- written and presentation

  • Good interpersonal skills working with many levels within the organization

  • Solid analytical- problem solving skills

  • Ability to identify and develop innovative ideas- understand brand strategies and business solutions

  • Knowledge and ability to gather- interpret and apply industry insights and trends

  • Marketing fundamentals (4P’s- brand strategies & business solutions)
