Ignite Technical Resources is looking for a
System Analyst (w/ Identity Access Management exp) for a
full-time opportunity.
Role: The System Analyst, Security designs, implements, integrates, and supports complex or campus-wide vendor-supplied and custom-built applications. The incumbent will focus on Security and Access activities relating to the IRP Student.
The System Analyst, Security will work closely with end users, analysts, technical leads, managers, integration service providers, and developers toward the design and implementation of effective Security and Access solutions using current industry tools and best practices. The incumbent understands the challenges encountered by end users as they work with data and translate them into sound requirements and high-quality solutions.
The position coordinates activities with Security and Privacy Advisor and other System Analysts, Build Engineers, Business Analysts, and Quality Assurance staff in ensuring the highest software quality is promoted in our production environments.
Responsibilities:
- Defines, estimates, and proposes Security and Access related solutions for accessing Workday and other point solutions in IRP Student while working in collaboration with business functional teams.
- Creates the overall security and access design - conceptual, logical, and physical representations, in collaboration with the Solution Architect, vendor experts, functional business analysts, and the Enterprise Data Integration team.
- Assist with designing User-based Security roles.
- Get a good understanding of role-based roles in the system.
- Document and manage provisioning and de-provisioning process.
- Work closely with the client’s IAM team.
- Conducts testing to ensure Security user-based roles meet specifications.
- Coordinates vendor contributions in security and access paradigm.
- Prepare access specifications and manages the process of producing specifications.
- Manages the service provider relationship with the program stakeholders to ensure alignment of deliverables, estimates, scheduling, quality, and testing objectives.
- Identifies, elicits, and documents business requirements define business rules, and communicates requirements for the implementation of solutions.
- Assesses client needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to identify business priorities and recommend options.
- Maintains user-based security groups.
- Designs workflow of security assessment to determine the severity of the access.
Knowledge:
- 3-5+ yrs of System Analyst experience with Identity Access Management exp.
- Experiences with system architecture.
- Knowledge and robust practical expertise with the delivery of large-scale security and access deliverables, including specification, engagement with multiple teams and integration partners, vendor/service providers.
- Management, operationalizing, and sustaining the security and access services.
- Knowledge of Workday Security is an asset.
- Experience leading the definition of requirements, evaluation, and deployment of software products for Security and Access as well as IAM services is an asset.
- Experience with data analysis and modeling, relevant development tools, specific application.
- Experience in writing SQL Queries and data analysis.
