Tactical Security Guard ( Level 3 ) Use of Force Certification Required Job at Patron Security & Investigations
Patron Security is Hiring Level 3 Tactical Security Guards to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. Please Read carefully - Guards with use of force training and certificate can apply to this job . Do Not apply unless you have this certification. This is a part time / casual position working 8 to 30 hours weekly (Hours can change based on Operational Needs). Part-Time position would be working for 30 hours or less weekly.
The Guard will act as the first-line representative to all staff, customers, and clients. A major part of the role involves deterring and protecting the Public Site and staff. Must have previous Security Guard experience, Customer Service experience and be Professional in Appearance.
Duties:
- You will be responsible for the protection of people, property, facilities and information.
- Maintain compliance with and enforce property standards, rules, and regulations in a reasonable manner
- Ability to utilize tact and diplomacy when on duty
- Deal with trespassers and unauthorized persons found on the property, in a fair and safe manner, by enforcing the Trespass to Property Act
- Maintain surveillance of surrounding area and report suspicious activity.
- Assist with daily operations as needed/required or directed
- Perform detailed and diligent patrols.
- Assess disturbances and take action accordingly
- Provide support in line management and crowd control
- Observe and report daily activities and irregularities to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure that all safety and emergency procedures are followed.
- Extensive patrolling
- Work with local police service
- Draft reports

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
