Technical Supervisor - Medical Affairs (Amended) Job at DynaLIFE

DynaLIFE Calgary, AB

  • Manages systems and operational practices to optimize departmental resources on a day to day basis
  • Collaborates and communicates regularly with the Manager, Medical Affairs and the Medical Staff regarding all aspects of the department.
  • Customer service responsibilities including but not limited to: developing and maintaining cooperative and positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing the highest possible service
  • Assists with preparation of Medical Consultant contracts by collecting essential documentations (e.g. valid medical licensure and medico legal insurance
  • Ensures safety policies and practices are followed as per established protocols
  • Works collaboratively with medical consultants to assess and ensure various performance metrics are met
  • Troubleshoots problems, staffing and workflow issues as well as safety practices issues
  • Schedules and coordinates medical staff coverage ensuring proper staffing levels are maintained
  • Manages and verifies time and attendance
  • Participates in onboarding of new Medical Consultants

Required Experience

  • Minimum Medical Laboratory Assistant background is required
  • Experience in an Anatomical Pathology Laboratory is an asset

Minimum Qualifications

  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures is an asset
  • Biohazard safety training
