Role Summary

Accuenergy is looking for a Technical Writer that can simplify and organize very complex technical information related to the energy metering industry. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams to update, revise, and expand our written documents library for the general audience.

Key Responsibilities:

· Create and update product user’s manual, datasheets, case studies, white papers, quick starter guides, patent applications, technical articles, and other written content as needed

· Correspond with our R&D and tech support teams to gather product information

· Develop and identify a documentation process

· Attention to small details to ensure documents adhere to brand guidelines and accuracy

· Assist with content material to ensure content is technically accurate

· Review and edit existing documentation for grammar, readability, and accuracy

· Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experiences

· Candidates with a background in electrical engineering will take priority.

· Prior understanding of basic terminology such as Modbus, BACnet, THD, harmonics, and lead wiring is a huge asset.

· Strong background in researching and understanding technical topics

· Excellent written and oral communication is a must

· Diligence and quality – attention small details such a grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting

· Must be well-organized with the ability to balance simultaneous projects and deadlines

Other Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or other STEM related field.

· 2.5+ years experience writing technical content
