Description
The Resources will act as a subject matter expert on a variety of infrastructure projects initiatives. Some of these will include designing and configuring advance security feature in alignment with CSD guidelines, upgrades to platforms and supporting service delivery excellence. They will also assist with complex Cluster solutions that require enhanced integration and deployments and act as site reliability engineering.

Must haves:
• Facilitate infrastructure and application design and/or improvements via solutioning process including security gating.
• Build-out and/or upgrade of infrastructure within as per design criteria.
• Utilize and Improve new cloud vendors and create for on-prem IaaS, PaaS.


Responsibilities:
• Improve and support the day-to-day operations of new and legacy on-prem infrastructure and applications including automation, configuration management and patching.
• Integrate and secure AHS and OPCS services for applications including identity, enterprise PAM setup and API management platforms and API gateways.
• Service Delivery optimization including self-service, portals and improving user needs.
• Support LCM maturity by assisting in refresh strategy both at hardware and software layers.
• Performance and capacity management.
• Hybrid integration of on-premises and cloud-based systems.
• Assist in process refinement, application performance improvements.
• Assist operations teams and Clusters with priority 1 incidents for mission critical applications as required.

Evaluation Breakdown

1. Technology Experience - 20%
• Facilitate infrastructure and application design and/or improvements via solutioning process including security gating.
• Build-out and/or upgrade of infrastructure within as per design criteria.
• Utilize and Improve new cloud vendors and create for on-prem IaaS, PaaS (Azure, AWS)
• Implementation and support of services such as DDI,DLP, SKLM,ePAM, identity, logging and monitoring.
• Provide intake and incident resolution for complex problems both at infrastructure and networking levels.
• Provide detailed reports on each engagement.
• Provide skills and knowledge transfer.
• Demonstration of leading projects and initiatives end to end (technical and nontechnical).
• Strong understanding of network architecture and application development methodologies including load balancing.
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
• Disaster recovery services at enterprise scale.

2. Communications and Customer Service - 10%
Demonstrated experience of working with customers/key stakeholders and using communication skills to resolve operational issues, negotiate or document process related intelligence.


3. Analysis and Problem Solving - 5%
Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting and resolving at complex levels for large enterprises such as VMware, Security tools and DNS.

4. Technical Expertise - 25%
• Demonstrate knowledge of infra architecture and implementation (OS, multitenancy, virtualization, orchestration, elastic scalability) including support and enablement.
• Integration and enablement across industry platforms and operating systems.
• IAM principals including integration within infra and applications with hands on implementation.
• Enterprise service design and implementation such as DDI, Logging and Monitoring.
• Demonstrate knowledge of DevOps tool chains and processes including automation, configuration management and templating.
• Encryption Implementation such as ePAM, Vault and secret management solutions.

5. Service Delivery - 10%
Demonstrate the ability to script and demonstrate SRE expertise to create automation in order to enhance service delivery and monitoring of legacy and on-prem systems.
