We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker for our auto manufacturing unit in Brampton, ON.
Job Title: Tool and Die Maker
Pay Rate:
- Starting Pay Range $28 - $29 per hour
- Negotiable with more than 4 years of experience
Shift:
- Morning Shift/ Day Shift
- 7:30 am to 3:30 am
- 8 Hour Shift
Job Duties:
- Design, build, modify, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair tooling, fixtures, and equipment
- Operate and maintain various machines, tools, and equipment
- Provide guidance and training to apprentices as assigned
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Report unusual circumstances and support continuous improvement
Job Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker in automotive tooling and assembly systems
- Recognized Certificate of Qualifications as a Tool and Die Maker or equivalent
- Superior machining skills
- Ability to read/interpret blueprints, specifications, and tolerance accurately
- Good communication skills
