Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour
This is a Full Time and Seasonal position with the Agawa Canyon Tour Train
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to recognize and respond to potential problems
- Work efficiently and accurately
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while multitasking
- Proficient with computers
- Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required
- Energetic and self-confident with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Patient, positive demeanour
Responsibilities
- Prepare pre-departure safety checklist
- Provide a safe and enjoyable environment for passengers
- Greet passengers outside and line them up to general coach areas before train arrival
- Assist passengers with boarding and use wheelchair lift if necessary
- Make announcements
- Interact with passengers
- Senior Attendant makes welcome and pre-departure safety announcements then checks office to ensure all tickets are picked up
- Walk through coaches helping seat passengers, arranging families together and/or moving if necessary to other coaches
- Hand out souvenir magazines to all passengers and pass out any requested headsets for foreign languages
- Circulate throughout coaches answering questions and chatting with passengers always in a friendly and respectful manner
