Role and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Truck Driver / Material Handler is to deliver finished goods to customers and to pick up raw materials from suppliers in the local area. Secondary function will be to support the final packaging of equipment and supporting material flow throughout the factory.

Duties involved with this position include:
- Customer deliveries and supplier pickups using company truck within a 2-hour drive from the Fergus factory.
- Liaising with customers and suppliers
- Shuttling material and loading/unloading truck between two factories
- Maintain driving log while using company truck
- Report and maintain any deficiencies of truck
- Moving materials within the facility using tow motors, dollies, pump trucks, and by hand
- Final assembly of units and ensuring electrical and serial number data match documentation
- Packaging units per shipping documentation
- Regular housekeeping of the shipping area
- Organize storage of finished goods inventory
- Complete other duties as assigned

Experience:
- Valid G driver’s license, D license preferred
- Clean driver’s abstract with previous experience driving a commercial tandem truck
- Valid forklift license
- Effective relationship management skills
- Ability to use hand/power tools such as drills, screw guns and banding equipment
- Effective organization and multi-tasking ability
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Demonstrate sound work ethics
- Takes initiative and is responsible and creative
- Requires strong attention to detail
