Baptist Housing is looking for a full time, Temporary Visitation Screener to join our team at the Mill Creek Village. The Visitation Screener is the first line of contact for individuals entering and exiting the Residence. Reporting to the Recreation Facilitator, and in keeping with the COVID-19 Orders of the Provincial Health Officer, the Visitation Screener’s primary role is to greet and engage with all individuals entering the building such as visitors, team members, and contractors, to ensure their attendance at the site is essential and to ensure non-essential visitors understand entrance restrictions. The Visitation Screener supports the safety of residents and their families and team members, by communicating information about visitor limits in a thoughtful and informative manner.

You have a positive, “can do” attitude, the ability to foster and maintain relationships, and model our values in all interactions. You have the ability to see the big picture and, knowing all of the processes, know what must be done with little direction.

The Visitation Screener must have completed grade 12 and a minimum of year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. An understanding of the healthcare environment is an asset. This position is for temporary and concludes March 31, 2023. Compensation is based on Facilities Collective Agreement Grid 11.
