Job Description

Does the idea of designing for a variety of platforms, and creating the concepts, artwork and layout for digital and print projects based on creative briefs and client meetings excite you? If so, then the position of Graphic/Visual Designer I can interest you. In this position, you will develop and design exceptional creative utilizing proven frameworks while incorporating new and innovative alternatives that are on-brief to achieve Marketing and business objectives. In addition, you will:
  • Sound knowledge of TD business objectives and responsible for creation of high quality branded offline and/or online products that align to brand and business objectives in print and/or digital formats
  • Develop or acquire images used in a variety of creative projects (for example, ads, brochures, corporate identity, packaging, presentations, promotional displays, signage, internet/intranet websites etc.) and oversee the design, layout and formatting of these materials
  • Understand respective TD businesses and products to deliver effective marketing/creative solutions within context of own projects
  • Prioritize and manage own workload to meet service level requirements for service and productivity
  • Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriate
  • Be knowledgeable of practices and procedures within own area of responsibility and keep abreast of emerging trends for own functional area
  • Professional role with a focus on providing functional specialized creative design services, advisory or process / program support for own area of specialty, within defined parameters
  • Primarily supports moderate projects/briefs (may also provide support to complex projects/briefs)
  • Require sound conceptual knowledge in own field of specialty
  • Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest
  • Support the team by continuously enhancing knowledge / expertise in own area and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit
  • Keep current on emerging trends/ developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniques

Job Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required
  • Over 2 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access) and internet application
  • A people's person, good listener and great thinker with strong verbal and written communications skills
  • A high-energy Individual who can exercise initiatives with minimal discretion and be thorough, accurate, and detail oriented to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Experience working in a dynamic, high-pressure environment through strong administration, organizational, planning and time management skills
