Shipper/ Receiver

Canadian owned and managed company distributing industrial machinery products across Canada. Now hiring warehouse associates for our warehouse located in west Mississauga.

We are looking to add motivated individuals who excel in fast pace work environments and have a strong work ethic.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive goods from suppliers and ensure accuracy against packing lists.
• Ensure material organization by moving materials and items from receiving to storage or to other designated areas.
• Assist with operating and maintaining a neat, organized and efficient warehouse.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure the safety of all staff and visitors.
• Professionally and accurately package and ship a wide variety of machinery equipment and parts. From small parcels to large crates and skids to aluminum piping up to 7-meters in length.
• Prepare daily shipping/receiving reports on company’s computer business software.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience driving Forklift and Counter Balance Reach (all battery operated).
• Minimum 2 years shipping/receiving experience.
• Able to lift up to 70lbs (32kg) on a frequent basis.
• Ability to construct wood pallets and crates to suit shipment.
• Good communication skills (English required).
• Good organizational skills.
• Familiar and comfortable using Microsoft office programs.
• Work cooperatively with others as a team.
• Ability to work with online computer shipping programs.
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Must excel in fast pace environment.
• Good with multitasking.
• Must be able to be on your feet moving for the length of your shift.
• Basic knowledge and skills with common hand/ power tools… such as drill, saw, etc.…

Pay and benefits:

• Starting salary from $50,000 to $60,000 depending on work ethic and experience.

• 8:00AM to 4:30PM Monday to Friday.
