Job Requirements

• Handle inventory control and supply chains as a warehouse helper, shipping and receiving clerk or traffic coordinator
• Sort and organize merchandise so that it can be easily located
• Keep records of items received and damaged merchandise returned
• Tag and place stock inventory as it is received
• Maintain quality control standards by checking items as they arrive
• Ensure warehouse & distribution productivity targets are met
• Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock
• Ensure equipment are in good working condition
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor as required

Required qualifications:

• Experience of 1 year or less in a warehouse position
• Ability to receive and give written and verbal instructions in a clear manner in English
• French proficiency (asset)
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadline and problem-solve
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting and manage multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and be able to bend and reach overhead
• Positive and friendly attitude, respectful and self-motivated
