Accounting Supervisor Job at OBASA Suites
As an Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for generating customer invoices and statements, posting receipts in QuickBooks as well as posting invoices for Accounts Payable, in addition, as a supervisor, you will provide guidance, training, and support to our Accounting Technicians.
In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely processing of the month-end tasks, support our internal team and interact with customers in a professional manner. We are willing to expand this to a remote position for the right candidate!

Job Duties
- Provide guidance, training, and support to all current and future accounting technicians.
- Prepare and validate customer invoices to send to customers
- Prepare and validate supplier invoices
- Work with our financial controllers, fulfillment and tech department to ensure processes are maintained.
- Work with our financial controllers, fulfillment and tech department to work through workflow enhancements.
- Verify validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales managers and customers.
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables data.
- Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues.
- Experience leading a team
- Minimum 7 years of accounting experience
- Experience with QuickBooks is a must
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail
- Residing in Canada is considered an asset!
