Your Opportunity:

Working at the Diagnostic Imaging reception and booking desk at the Richmond Road Diagnostic & Treatment Centre. This position’s assigned work includes greeting patients, patient documentation, order entry, telephone coverage, electronic scheduling patients and assisting with the technical staff when required. Working all shifts including days, evenings and weekends are required.

As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Computer/keyboarding skills. Minimum typing >35 wpm. Minimum 3 months recent experience in a hospital or medical environment. Must have Diagnostic Imaging experience. Must have the Unit Clerk or Medical Office Assistant course. Medical Terminology course required. Demonstrated proficiency in Netscape and Windows (Word, Excel, Internet, and Email). Absolute attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to effectively communicate in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

Connect Care Experience is an asset. Connect Care SuperUser role an asset. Current experience in a Diagnostic Imaging Department with MRI, CT, General X-ray and Special Procedures workflow preferred.
