Position Summary

The successful candidate will provide a lead role in the coordination of the office administrative functions. This position contributes to the overall positive and welcoming school environment and culture.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • providing a lead role in the coordination of office administrative functions
  • developing, implementing, and maintaining administrative and clerical systems and procedures
  • processing and maintaining the student information system, student records and student enrolment
  • coordinating student transportation and collecting and processing monthly bus fees
  • monitoring, analyzing, reconciling and reporting financial activity
  • maintaining school generated and school allocated funds
  • assisting with budget planning and amendments
  • assisting with the coordination of building and ground maintenance

Education/Qualifications

  • post-secondary diploma in a recognized administrative assistant program or equivalent
  • a minimum of 3 years related administrative support experience, preferably in a school environment
  • excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • exceptional customer service orientation
  • Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Quickbooks, PowerSchool

Rate of Pay

$24.48 - $31.18 per hour
