Fletcher Mudryk LLP, a local firm of Chartered Professional Accountants, which has been serving Grande Prairie and area since 1935, has an employment opportunity for a full-time Administrative Assistant.

Candidates for this position must have a strong administrative background and the ability to provide an exceptional client experience through effective and efficient operations that reflect our firm culture. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support, by following internal processes, to a fast-paced office
  • Exhibit polite and professional communication via telephone, email, and mail on behalf of the firm and its management
  • Prepare and distribute invoices, reports, memos, financial statements, letters, and other documents, as required
  • File, maintain and retrieve internal and client documents and records via our electronic filing system
  • Perform and maintain other general office duties such as supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Provide support and coverage for reception when needed
  • Provide other administrative responsibilities and duties such as scheduling meetings and booking meeting rooms etc., as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Administrative experience
  • Accounting knowledge is not required, but an asset
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Motivated and self-directed; can work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects and assignments, prioritize, and respond quickly and efficiently
  • Eager to embrace new opportunities for learning and growth
  • Ability to complete high volume of work within deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage a high degree of sensitive information, while maintaining confidentiality
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet the firms core values
  • Ability to work additional time if needed to meet deadlines, particularly in peak times of the year (i.e., tax season and month end)
