About the role

We’re looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our growing team! This is a full-time permanent position based in our Dartmouth, Nova Scotia office

What you’ll do here:

  • Support mailroom with incoming and outgoing mail
  • Support the policy assembly for Atlantic Canada Commercial and Facility business
  • Provide reception support to our Dartmouth office by acting as the first point of contact for customers and visitors
  • Maintain our Atlantic reception switchboard and redirect calls to the proper department as necessary
  • Organize and maintain broker information on our Broker Workbench and SharePoint portals
  • Other administrative duties as assigned


What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum of 3 years of related professional experience in an office environment
  • Well organized and detailed oriented
  • A self-starter, takes initiative, and able to multi task
  • Demonstrated excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Prior experience in a customer facing role
  • Proficient in MS Office (O365)
