Solar Power Store Canada Ltd. Barrie, ON

Solar Power Store is a solar power equipment distributer, and we're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide administrative support to various departments within our store and help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the office. You will also be responsible for organizing inbound and outbound shipping of solar panels and related products.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails to appropriate personnel
  • Assist with preparing and distributing reports, documents, and presentations related to solar energy
  • Coordinate meetings and appointments, including scheduling and booking meeting rooms
  • Process and manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries of solar panels and related products
  • Organize inbound and outbound shipping of solar panels and related products, including preparing and tracking packages, creating shipping labels, and ensuring timely delivery
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment inventory related to solar energy
  • Provide general administrative support, such as filing, scanning, and data entry

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with some college coursework preferred
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a basic understanding of solar energy concepts
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
