Triple Eight Transport is an asset-based carrier company with terminals in Abbotsford, Calgary and Edmonton! We provide Full Truck Load Transportation Services to and from major cities in Western Canada and Western US.

If you're a self-starter who is motivated by providing top-notch service and support, Triple Eight Transport is looking for someone to join us as an Administrative Assistant.

In this full-time role, you will play a key part of supporting our Management team. You will put your skills to work providing exemplary administrative services and supporting our business in the following ways:

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for processing of various admin documents, systems data inputting, maintenance of information and accessing various computer programs.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate arrangements for meetings and conferences.
  • Coordinate and maintain the executives correspondences and records, following up on pending matters with limited direction.
  • Report preparations and assisting with analyzing, collecting and summarizing data.
  • Responding to written and verbal communications and liaises internally and externally to share information, clarify details, and ensure follow up.
  • Produce timely, accurate and well formatted documents using various word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software packages.
  • Enter and collect data and compile relevant statistics information and reports.

About You

Our ideal candidate will be a proactive and energetic self-starter who is committed to providing outstanding service to our clients. A graduate of a relevant post-secondary program (e.g., office/business administration) with at least one year of experience in a professional office environment in a similar capacity would be preferred. Qualifications

  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Proven team player with ability to align position goals with corporate strategic goals.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience would be an asset.
  • Some post-secondary education is an asset.
  • Must be legally allowed to work full time in Canada.
