Go-Go After School is hiring Program Leaders for our Hampton area after school programs!

We are proud to offer a fun & educational After School Program that services hundreds of children in the Hampton area between the ages of 5 - 12 years old. We take pride in ensuring our programs keep kids active - both physically and mentally; allow them the opportunity to discover and explore their own interest; all within a safe, enthusiastic and upbeat environment. That’s why finding the right people to join our team is so important to us. Our After School Program Leaders are a critical part of our success. In this role you will be responsible for the daily operation of our programs including maintaining standards, ensuring a safe and clean environment, parent relations, ensuring the safety and care of children at our programs, and implementing a variety of fun and engaging activities. The person we are looking for:

Appreciates children, treats them with respect and enjoys being with them. Previous childcare experience (after school program, babysitting, coaching, etc.) is considered an asset for this position.

Would be described by your friends as a leader. You take responsibility to ensure things are done appropriately. You can express yourself well and are able to address parents and their concerns intelligently and graciously.

Can handle random days and varying tasks. You are not phased when things do not go according to plan. You quickly respond to the situation at hand and handle it with a smile.

Is available to work from 1:30-6:00 on weekdays during the school year. Preference will be given to candidates willing to work from 7:30 – 6:00 on PD Days, Storm Days and during our camps (Summer, March Break, etc.)

Salary: This is a government funded position, with a fixed wage that will depend on qualifications. The wage breakdown will be as follows:

$15-$17 (based on experience) - Candidate does not hold a University Degree, Early Childhood Education certificate or equivalent.

$21-$23.47 (based on experience) - Candidate holds an Early Childhood Education certificate/diploma or completed university degree.
