Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help Install, repair, and maintain domestic and commercial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors.
• Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
• Measure and cut pipes using hand and power tools.
• Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering.
• Test pipes for leaks.
• Assist with material handling.
• Always maintain a clean working area, and perform housekeeping duties on site.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be able to follow the instructions of the foreman/supervisor.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work.
• Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.
• Skilled in using and caring for hand and small power tools associated with the work.
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple team members.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and/or be on their feet 10-12 hours/day.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Use proper lifting techniques for heavy pipes weighing more than 25 kilograms.
