With the evolution of the dairy industry, reproductive technology is becoming an increasingly important aspect of EastGen’s business and the AI Technician role. We are currently seeking to add an AI Technician in the western Ontario Region of Norfolk county, our compensation package includes base plus commission, incentive, RRSP and benefits.

In this role, you will:

• Provide artificial insemination service (A.I.) and sell farm and agri-products
• Promote current/new products and services to established and potential clients
• Offer consulting service to breeders answering questions related to reproduction, and,
• Participate in staff development opportunities, and staff/client meetings.

To be successful you will need:

• A keen interest in dairy and beef industry
• Knowledge and experience in the agriculture industry
• Breeding experience is an asset, but training will be provided
• Physical fitness with acute manual dexterity
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• A valid ‘G’ Ontario driver’s license and clean driving record
• Flexibility to work rotating schedules, including weekends and holidays
