Responsibilities
Work with the Field Supervisor and staff to meet work contract deadlines and coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
Perform on-site job duties along with your crew members; setting up grades, preparing areas, milling, raking, luting, rolling and general labour
Operate machinery and equipment; perform repair work as required and have a strong familiarity with the safe operation of different heavy equipment
Perform all duties in compliance with safe work practices, policies, procedures and government regulations
A willingness to make changes to achieve improvements
All other duties as needed
Requirements
Documentation knowledge of: driver logs; pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintenance and repair reports; and trip reports.
Ability to follow safe working procedures.
Excellent observation skills and a strong attention to detail.
Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
Ability to work both independently and with little supervision.
Carry and use a smart phone or data-enabled device for communication and reporting
Work will be Monday to Friday, with weekend dates when needed (not often)
