The Marble Slab experience starts with all products being made fresh in-store with Real Canadian Dairy. We offer more than 50 flavours of ice cream and 30 mixins – fruits, nuts, candies, chocolates and cookies – that add that extra something special to your treat! We even bake and hand-roll our waffle cones in-store too!

We are looking for an upbeat, outgoing individual to be our assistant manager with a hands on a approach. We respect every employee’s voice and opinion, and we understand that long-term success comes from building a strong, unified team who are all on the same page and is working towards the same goals.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Prepare & serve our ice cream treats (cones, sundaes, cakes, milkshakes and smoothies) with a smile!

Ensure that all production tasks for the store are taken care of in both a timely manner ensuring that store inventory levels are met while safeguarding product quality, consistency and food safety

Participate in the production of ice cream, ice cream cakes, cone making, baked goods and semi-prepared items (fresh cut strawberries, brownies, cookie dough)

Assist the Store Manager with employee scheduling, inventory management and weekly ordering of dairy and ingredients

Ensure the store is being run both efficiently and effectively, and the highest level of customer service is being met

Ensure daily opening and closing lists are completed

Complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning and maintenance checklists

Ensure customer areas of the store are clean and organized at all times

Ensure production and service areas are cleaned and organized on a regular basis

Adhere to all safety and food safety protocols

Applicants must be available to work days, evenings and week-ends at a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Salary: $15.50-$18.00 per hour
