We are expanding and looking for the right fit to join our team. The successful candidate will have demonstrated leadership qualities and play a critical role in bridging project design, installation, and support.

Job Position: AV Project Manager

Hybrid position: office, on-site, work from home

40 hours/week, permanent full-time.

  • Primary point of contact for coordinating/implementing all activities related to project execution: site surveys and inspections, engineering, fabrication and installation, testing, troubleshooting, programming, commissioning, training, etc.
  • Project administration: budgeting, planning, purchasing, scheduling, time sheets, expenses, progress and field reports, RFI’s, change orders, punch lists, etc.
  • Lead weekly project status meetings.
  • Lead and manage the installation team and subcontractors. Coordinate with trades.
  • Lead the installation of all audio-visual and acoustic equipment/materials and verify quality of work.
  • Project close-out documentation and handover.
  • Manage remote and on-site technical services support and preventative maintenance.
  • Continuously develop our standards and processes to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain and develop strong customer relationships through direct interaction and create a culture of service quality, on-time delivery, problem-solving and responsiveness.

Required:

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in the audio-visual industry.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean record. Travel within GTA. Periodic travel outside of GTA. Reliable vehicle.
  • Fundamental understanding of installed AV systems and installation processes.
  • Strong understanding of general contracting and electrical trades.
  • Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings, schedules, test reports, etc.
  • Ability to read audio-visual infrastructure and functional system drawings.
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot and solve problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self motivated, with effective time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Be able to work at heights.

Preferred:

  • Diploma or degree in audio-visual related field.
  • CTS or CTS-I certification.
  • MOL Working at Heights certification.
  • Experience in construction.
  • Proficiency with Sketchup, Revit, AutoCAD.
