This job contributes to the Hotel's success by upholding the hotel's brand promise by providing legendary customer service to all customers. This job creates the Delta Service Experience for our customers by providing customers with prompt service, a professional attitude while maintaining exceptional guest service standards. The incumbent is responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with hotel guiding principles.

Summary

The bell person is a team player who will work closely with the Guest Services team in the daily front desk operations which includes greeting guests upon arrival and departure, valet parks vehicles, assist guests with luggage, provide assistance to front desk staff, as well as providing lobby coverage.

Greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner and consistently offer friendly and engaging service with the hotel guests.

Transport luggage and assists guests with moves and stores luggage for guests as requested.

Follow all luggage storage safely according to prescribed procedures.

Undertake various other requests such as calls for taxis, package delivery in order to ensure their comfort while staying in the hotel. Assist with keeping lobby area clean and orderly.

Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Requirements

Must possess a valid class G license

Ability to move lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds or more. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Must be able to stand sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.

Previous experience in a full-service hotel on the front desk is preferred. Must be flexible to work day and evening shifts on the weekends and holidays.
