We are looking for an RV Washer for our Bedford, NS dealership in our Rentals department. This is a Full-Time, Seasonal position that will end in the Fall. The successful applicant must be available to work 5 days a week, including Saturdays.

The RV Washer is primarily responsible for washing, cleaning, polishing and performing general upkeep on RV exteriors to ensure they are clean and presentable for customers. This position will also provide general assistance at the dealership including, moving cars, assisting co-workers and assisting with the cleaning of the dealership lot.

JOB DUTIES

• Responsible for washing the exterior of all RVs.
• Perform general RV detailing activities, including shampooing, washing, and waxing, as needed.
• Ensure the exterior of RVs are clean and tar free.
• Drive RVs in dealership lot
• Flush black water tanks on RV.
• Clean wheels and rims.
• Mix cleaning solutions, abrasive compositions, or other compounds/solutions, according to formulas.
• Operate cleaning equipment or machines.
• Use a variety of handheld tools to detail exterior of RVs.
• Notify supervisor or appropriate technician when you notice parts of RV that require repair or replacement.
• Performs other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Willing to work weekends, some shift work may be required
• Driver’s license (Class 5) and clean drivers abstract
• Work experience washing vehicles is an asset.
• Interest in RVs.
• Experience working with cleaning products and cleaning tools including power washers.
• Must be dependable, reliable, possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Available to work weekends.

WORK CONDITIONS

• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Shift work required, including evening, weekends and early mornings.
• Overtime may be required.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods and to bending, twist, push, pull and RV equipment and supplies.
• Lifting or moving up to 40lbs may be required, including shoveling snow, RV parts, and cleaning equipment/supplies.
• Manual dexterity required to operate cleaning equipment including power washers and hand tools.
