About the Role at Group Force Benefits Inc.

As a Benefits Analyst at Group Force, you are an integral part of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. You will liaise between our advisors and insurance company representatives to ensure the timely and successful delivery of new business and renewal client presentations in your assigned group.

What You’ll do

  • Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your assigned client group and advisor
  • Financial data entry for renewals and marketing (i.e. Experience info, rate history, demographic data, etc.)
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of client presentations (new business/ renewal) for potential clients as well as existing ones:
  • Renewals – 30 days prior to the renewal date
  • New Business – 10 business days / 15 business days (large group)
  • Maintain full workload on our internal filing system (SharePoint)
  • Analyzing proposals from carriers for new prospects (rates, plan design, TLR, etc.)

What You Bring

  • Typically, 1+ years of experience within the Group Benefits industry, preferably in an MGA setting
  • Some knowledge of group benefit plans, plan design, etc.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including basic formulas, calculations, etc.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities
  • High level of accuracy, organization and attention to detail
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with a variety of people
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage numerous tasks simultaneously with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional benefits designation is an asset (such as GBA, CEBS, etc.)
