Billing Specialist Job at Summit Search Group
About Our Client: Our client is a growing importer and established distributor of perishable products.
Schedule: The general hours of work will be Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm, and non-mandatory Sunday 7am-12pm only during peak times ($150 extra for weekend shift) in the Milton Facility.
Position Scope:
The Billing Specialist will primarily be responsible to bill customers accurately in a timely manner and ensure receipt of invoices.
Responsibilities:
- Create invoices and credit memos according to company standard practices
- Verify billing transactions
- Send invoices to consumers
- Interact with the sales team, shipping and order entry departments on a day-to-day basis
- Filing of billing documentation
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of clerical and administrative procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to solve problems as they arise
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of one year of experience in Billing or Accounts Receivable
- College diploma in relevant field, preferable accounting/commerce
