We are a dynamic, growing organization currently recruiting for a Business Development & Relationships Lead to join our team in Chase, British Columbia. Key Job Duties:

  • Managing Business Development initiatives and external resources in support of the Company
  • Leveraging business experience and relationships to support Company initiatives, projects, and growth
  • Support the development, maintenance, and management of SRM management systems (financial, reporting, communication, policies, etc.)
  • Facilitate, negotiate, and support partnerships and external agreements through external relationships
  • Support collaboration between SRM, LSLB departments, contractors, external bodies, etc.
  • Leading the development of business case assessments of various complexity,
  • Large corporate projects and growth initiatives
  • Target Identification and Commercial Due Diligence relating to potential acquisitions
  • Capacity and Economic Development planning
  • Support the pursuit of Non-dilutive external funding (grants, philanthropy, governmental etc.)
  • Presenting regularly to the Company leadership team to provide updates on the team’s progress and review outputs of Business Development initiatives
  • Manage relationships with clients and all stakeholders
  • Support all Company marketing & branding initiatives, strategies, and pursuits
  • Responsible for attending & participating in events appropriate to the company and its goals (conferences, workshops, hiring/career fairs, industry days, sponsorships, client open houses, community events, etc.)
  • Support strong relationship development between local Indigenous groups, communities and industry
  • Prepare reporting for leadership and present, as required
  • Identify and problem solve through potential conflicts as they arise
  • Revise and/or formulate policies, procedures to promote their implementation
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned. These duties may fall out of the scope as described to support the business in whatever capacity deemed required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study, or equivalent work experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 5+ years in a similar role, or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to work within a collaborative team.
  • Proven ability to work, build and maintain relationships with communities, including municipalities, Indigenous groups, and Industry.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills and detail oriented
  • Strong software and technical application skills including Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Familiarity with ISC policies and processes

  • Excellent communication skills: written and verbal skills, listening skills, organization abilities, proven attention to detail, and ability to develop good working relationships within and outside organizations
  • Strong understanding and commitment to First Nations culture, history, and community development

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
