Sunrise International Inc is a family owned business that operates a variety of Recreational and Hospitality businesses in Alberta and BC. We are now recruiting motivated ASP.NET programmers to join our team as a Back-end Web Developer. You will be employed within the CreativeMite Technology and Marketing division and we support all the other divisions Information Technology and Marketing needs including their websites

This position is a full time work from home position. You are required to have access to a broadband Internet connection and be able to remotely connect to a Corporate Desktop as needed. You are also expected to be able to manage your time to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and to be a self-starter.

The successful candidate will have the following duties:

· Learn the codebase that exists already within the company

· Follow design principles laid out in computer science and company policy

· Work with team members to create products with great functionality

· Work diligently on assigned coding tasks

· Write code with a low time and space complexity relative to the task

· Revise yours and sometimes others code to provide new or better functionality

· Monitor performance and provide minor bug fixes

Requirements to be considered:

· C# Coding Skills

· Working ASP.NET knowledge

· Very strong English speaking and writing

· Some knowledge of databases and operating systems

· Ability to learn new technologies quickly

· A willingness to learn

Other desirable skills (not mandatory):

· Knowledge of networking

· Knowledge of client-server architecture

· Knowledge of APIs through MVC API Controllers

· Basic web coding skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

· Modern web coding skills (JavaScript Frameworks, HTML5)
