Carpenter Job at MJ Custom Projects
Clean Driving RecordWe are looking for a hardworking and driven Carpenter with at least 5 years of experience. This position is responsible for the construction, modification and maintenance of both residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate is proficient with their hands, able to handle various building materials and enjoys a physically demanding job. All candidates must be reliable and have a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements, Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
- Must have proven experience in residential or commercial construction
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- General carpentry, framing, repairs and finishing skills Experience boarding and finishing drywall
- Excellent Bathroom renovations experience
- Experience in other trade work (tile, flooring, other)
- Have knowledge of a wide variety of carpentry terms and techniques.
- Work with electrical wiring
- Musy have a valid Drivers Licence with Clean Driving Record
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
