Hiring - General Laborer

MFC Carpentry has been in business since the fall of 2012. We pride ourselves on providing high quality workmanship in a timely manner. The owner/operator of the business is Mark Cleghorn. Mark is a licensed Red Seal Carpenter with 30 years experience and throughout his career as a carpenter, has upheld and continues to uphold the high standards of his certification through his demonstrated commitment towards the industry, his trade and his customers.

Job description

Qualifications:

· Previous carpentry experience in a construction environment is an asset.

· Competent in the use and maintenance of related tools and equipment is an asset

· Knowledge of building regulations and codes considered an asset;

· Commitment to safety in the workplace, including knowledge and practice of workplace safety procedures

· Strong communication skills

· Exceptional team skills, including the ability to work with others to develop solutions and implement improvements.

· Hardworking work ethic and always taking initiative to make a more productive and efficiently run job site.

· We offer a competitive wage commensurate with experience and abilities. The general range is between $16 - 19$ per hour.

Experience:

· construction: 1 year (preferred)
