Securitas is hiring multiple security guards for multiple sites throughout Hamilton Region, ON. The Security Guard is responsible for performing the post order duties to maintain the safety and security for all persons on the site throughout the duration of their shift. These positions require standing and walking for long periods of time. Our uniforms are free of charge!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Perform access control duties and robbery prevention for the client site.
• Respond to all alarms, fire alarms, door alarms and intrusions.
• Follow post orders, and site policies and procedures.
• Complete concise incident reports for all deficiencies.
• Provide excellent customer service to members of the public and enforce all client policies, Provincial and Federal laws where applicable.
• Protect staff and contractors on site and work with local law enforcement to complete investigations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Ontario Security License.
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Proof of Vaccination against Covid-19
• Must be able to stand walk for long periods of time
• Ability to travel to site location either by transit or car within 40km of your residence.
