Chainsaw Operator

Term: Full-Time, Seasonal

Location: Regina, SK

Salary: $21-$26/ hour

Hours of Work: 10-12-hour days. Shifts schedule based on project requirements

Meals: $40/day when travelling.

Hotels/Camp: Provided for project during work days.

Based out of Lloydminster AB and Regina SK, Marksmen Vegetation Management Inc. and MVM Rail Inc. provides industrial locations with vegetation control. We are a growing, expanding company providing over 23 years of service to our clientele. At Marksmen Vegetation Management Inc. and MVM Rail Inc. we are dedicated to providing high quality customer service.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Promoting corporate safety values by following safety policies, work plans and project level hazard assessments
• Gather fallen tree debris and dispose of safely
• Practice good housekeeping on the worksite
• Demonstrate knowledge on proper tree felling techniques and chainsaw operations
• Maintain a high level of technical knowledge of chainsaws and chainsaw operations
• Tree Feller or Tree Climbing Certification an asset
• Chainsaw Operator Certification an asset
• Experience in tree climbing and tree pruning is an asset

Qualifications:

Candidates must have valid first aid certification, class 5 driver’s license, and chainsaw safety certification. All employees must pass insurance approval of drivers abstract.
