Role: Childminding and Recreation Staff
Wage: $16.10/hour
Benefits: Vacation at 6% gross annual pay, YMCA Membership, Paid sick days, Full
Benefits Package, Discount on child care (Excluding infant and toddler care)
Hours: Availability for a variety of shifts including morning, afternoon, evening, and
weekends. Will accommodate around school schedules

About the
Program:
The Prince George Family Y is a multi-services facility, offering Fitness
Services, Health Management Programs, Group Fitness classes, and Child
and Youth Programs. We believe in putting people first, with 5-Star YMCA
Services, and creating environments that are caring, welcoming and fun
• Safe supervision of children ages 3 months to 12 years
- Support children’s development through play and activities
- Provide high quality care for children including feeding and changing
- Communicate with parents regarding the care of their child
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
• Satisfactory criminal record check and clear vulnerable sector search and 3 satisfactory
- Experience working with children ages 0-12 years
- Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain within the first month of
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, highly efficient, and detail orientated
- Additional education and training in Early Childhood Education considered an asset
