Job description:
Our team is growing, and we are actively looking to hire Claim Advisor – Accident Benefits.
Reporting to the Manager, Casualty Claims, as Claim Advisor, Accident Benefits you will investigate, assess, and settle injury claims by telephone and/or written correspondence

Accountabilities:
Ensure superior customer service experience

Investigation and settlement of injury claims (first party).

Interpreting insurance policy wordings, determine policy coverages and reserves.

Ensure prompt and equitable settlement of claims.

Advise distribution partner on possible coverage opportunities.

Qualifications:
Minimum post-secondary education or equivalent

Minimum of 1-2 years as a claim advisor or similar role and/or have a medical background and experience working in a medical environment.

Enrolled in, or completion of, CIP designation.

Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Proficient keyboard skills and computer literacy.
