CAPSTAN Hauling, a diversified trucking company (acquired by LAPRAIRIE Group of Companies), is currently recruiting for full-time Class 1 Drivers to join its growing, logistics team in Tumbler Ridge, BC.

At CAPSTAN Hauling (a member of LAPRAIRIE Group of Companies), we work for internal and external customers, and our drivers are busy transporting bulk commodities year-round. These commodities include sand, aggregates, grain, coal and highway salt to a variety of facilities and field locations throughout our operating regions.

Responsibilities:*

• Haul coal material off-highway with tractor-trailer side-dump and live-bottom configurations
• On a full-time basis
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
• Adhere to daily schedules set out by Dispatch
• Complete daily paperwork accurately and on time
• Maintain a clean and organized truck
• Ability to navigate work sites, and adapt to daily changes in site scope of work
• Excellent communication skills

Requirements:

• Must hold valid Class 1 license with clean drivers abstract
• Recent Graduates are welcome; commercial driving experience is an asset
• Availability to work overtime when needed
• Accommodations provided for project work
• Off-highway hauling experience is a significant asset
